Newsletter

Hope everyone is doing well!

We are very busy at CB&E right now which is outstanding. In the last newsletter, we spoke of new work at Monsanto and Rabo Agri-Finance at the new Delmar Gardens office building. Currently, we are adding an 8-story, Hilton Garden Inn ground up project in Maryland Heights to our backlog, as well as, more work with Delmar Gardens and a small project at the Young Isreal temple in West County.

We are quickly filling the back end of our 2017.

Keep in mind that as our project begins to materialize and you need some help with budget pricing/schedules, value engineering ideas and constructability issues we are always ready to help. We do not charge for this collaboration, it is our way of showing you our values as a member of your team from the very beginning.

I look forward to good things in the future for all of us. Hope you have a great summer.

ON-GOING WORK

Avalon Memory Care This project will complete in August 2016. The project was an interesting build; lots of rock issues complied with weather issues made this a challenging project for all involved.

Delmar Gardens South With just about four months to go, work is continuing to plug along at Delmar Gardens South. The Division 300 Dining Room / Servery and the Men’s Spa area are completed, as well, as the Division 400 Soiled Utility room and the Division 200 Men’s Spa. This month, light fixtures will be installed in the Common Area. The Division 500 Med Area and Soiled Utility rooms will be complete. Over on Division 400, the new Resident Room doors and corridor wall coverings are close to being 100% installed.

Moving outside, the new canopy installation is scheduled to begin at the end of the month.

The entire project is scheduled to wrap up in November of 2016 ahead of the holidays.

Delmar Gardens at Conway Ridge III Last year CB&E was awarded the position of Construction Managers / Owner’s Rep for this 127,000 sqft, 5 story building with a 4 story garage in Chesterfield. The project is formally known as Delmar Gardens at Conway Ridge III. CB&E was the responsible as the for the site work, utility piping and grading which was completed on schedule in spite of the rain/snow delays from November through March. Clayco has moved on-site and they have completed the footings and begun their steel erection. We should be topped off by the middle of August. The progress of the work is moving along smoothly, without incidents.

Sleep Inn / Main Stay Suites This project has finally broken ground and we are quickly moving though the shell/core to get weathered in before the weather turns cold. It seems crazy when its 100* outside to think of cold weather, but that’s how we preplan for our client’s expectations. We are targeting completion by January 2017.

Lot’s to do; stay tuned as we continue to build our backlog and continue to grow by “building better” buildings.
